A wonderful old time experience. Great food. Definitely need to make your first choice when travelling

Service was ridiculous! 45 minute wait on food and wasnt overly busy either - No apology when the food was served. The decor was very interesting as they have tried keeping as in original condition as possible (seating isnt made for bigger people as they only offered booths) Isnt kid friendly or breastfeeding friendly!

Stepping back in time, this lovely old building is full of charm from an era gone by. What seems like original 1940's furniture in a town itself steeped in history. The food and service by contrast a bit limited, but still worth a visit for the experience .

Been on the to do list for ages. Has an authentic historic yet slightly cheesy feel. The burger with the lot was sensational and for 10 dollars great value. Milkshakes served in proper metal glasses and pretty good sorbet. Overall worth a stop in Gundagai but call ahead to make sure they're open before leaving the freeway.

Good old fashioned cafe. American diner style booths. Lots of historical pictures and the owner was a racing enthusiast so lots of pictures of his race winning horses. It was opened in 1902. Australian prime minister was there in 1942. During the war times. The menu was limited but it's worth going there ones for the sake of history and story.
