Gundagai River Camp is a quiet and restful place to stay for a good break. The staff are very friendly, helpful and considerate. The amenities are clean and tidy and the grounds are well cared for. It is right on the Murrumbidgee river and has lots of trees and birds. The park is within walking distance of the main shopping street of Gundagai. A good place to stop for a relaxing break.
Stopped at caravan park after a long hot day on the road. Very helpful office person. Shown to site. Very reasonable rates. Very clean amenities. Pet friendly. Great stop over.

Cabin is cosy. It was 9 degrees when we arrived. Wish it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the river.
A great town a central point to visit a lot of close towns with interesting places to visit. It has a great bakery probably the longest running bakery in Australia great pies and cakes the town has a lot of small businesses unfortunately a lot of empty shops like a lot of small country towns. The council caravan park is really good although does not give a seventh night free like a lot of places to keep travellers here
